Medieval towers rise above Celano's cobblestone streets, where the impressive Piccolomini Castle houses the Museum of Sacred Art and Marsican wildlife exhibits. Hike to nearby Lake Fucino for panoramic views, or time your visit for the Potato Festival when locals celebrate with music and traditional dishes.
From the start I was welcomed by the owner Franco and his staff,
Nice size room, and great views from the balcony
Amazing food, will stay again when down that way.

Difficult to know where to start !
Awesome location, fabulous room great breakfast and terrific service. I have run out of superlatives.
Roberto and Giuseppe were extremely good and informative, pretty much the Sulmona Tourist office.
Would visit Sulmona again just to stay here.

Beautiful surroundings, very friendly staff, rooms are the actual original houses of the village and the whole concept of local food/products is simply genius.
Very quiet no cars or any noise. I will go back

Rifugio della Rocca Calascio is a stunning place with breathtaking views and a medieval atmosfere. The hospitality of the host is exeptional, and the local cousine is delicious. We higly recommend Rifugio della Rocca Calascio to anyone who loves mountains.

I have stayed in many hotels in many different countries over the years. I have never seen a hotel with such excellent cleanliness, breakfast, and staff. I would like to sincerely thank each and every one of the staff members. They were helpful and friendly in every way. I am very happy that I chose this hotel and I will recommend it to everyone. Thank you very much.

A surprising comfortable stay with good service and clean functional rooms despite the unusual location at a road intersection backing on to a petrol station.

Beautifully reformed property in a classical building. Comfortable bed, great air-conditioning, and a large bathroom. The owner, Luigi, is a great host. This was my second stay at La Casa di Tocco, and I will stay there again in the future.
