"The front desk was beyond amazing with their recommendations and overall friendliness! The area is so walkable and as a woman who was solo traveling, it was enjoyable. I'm knocking a star away due to the noise - I did pay extra to ensure I wouldn't deal with high volume noise and I still endured it too early in the morning that it was waking me up in the mornings unfortunately. This is a good place to be if you are not planning to stay all day in the room and a good short trip! "

"I'm starting off by saying I love this hotel, especially the service! Fantastic location. This time a couple glitches. Bad internet froze the TV several times as well as my electronic devices. Also, I had put my delicious dinner leftovers in the fridge only to find in the morning the fridge was turned off! I hadn't checked because it's always on. When I mentioned these while checking out, Lindon (?) was so kind and accommodating. Like always, excellent service."

"We didn’t like, that 3 of the 6 days we stayed did not have the rooms cleaned We requested next to each other rooms and we didn’t get it The sound of the elevator, it hears all day "

"We were pleased with the room, however there was noise each night and early morning coming from the workout area that was three doors down from us. We saw later that the noise was from people repetitively slamming a ball on a wall. "

"All in all, this was a very pleasant stay for our nephew's college graduation. Convenient location to UCSD and freeway. The interior courtyard design is nice with waterfalls and koi ponds. Good buffet breakfast and complimentary drinks & snacks for happy hour. Rooms are all suites, well-sized (esp corner rooms) though some furnishings look a bit worn. The staff were EXCELLENT and most helpful with any requests or questions."
