With the ongoing impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, travelling now comes with more challenges. Take a look at these valuable tips before hopping on your plane to Central Slovakia:

• Know what rules and restrictions apply to both your destination and origin. You may not be able to travel depending on local circumstances, so be sure to check before you book.
• Keep your face mask on during airport screening. A TSA officer will ask you to temporarily lower your mask to verify your identity.
• To reduce the risk of cross-contamination, position your boarding pass on the reader yourself and then hold it up for inspection. Do not hand your boarding pass directly to a TSA employee.
• One container of liquid hand sanitizer is now permitted in your carry-on baggage. It must not be larger than 12 oz (350 ml), and you'll have to remove it from your bag at the X-ray machine for scanning.
• Remove items from your pocket, such as your wallet, coins and keys, and place them in your carry-on rather than into bins. This will minimize handling during screening.
• Separate any food you have for screening. Putting it in a clear plastic bag and into a bin reduces the need for a TSA officer to touch and inspect your belongings.
