"Staff was amazing, room and bathroom were clean-but linens and bedding were not replaced or made. Breakfast had good options/however the restaurant menu was disappointing. Bedroom and Hall carpet needs replacing. Great location, I would stay here again. Thank you."

"The breakfast was awesome. The pool wasnt crowded with kids. Getting to the parking lot was kinda tricky though. Overall my daughters and I really enjoyed our stay."

"Great stay for Padre Island! Resort experience in Texas, restaurant/bar was great, fun atmosphere with great pool/beach access. Keep in mind it is an older hotel so some parts are showing its age, however our room was nice, clean and updated. Rooms can get loud at night so I would bring ear plugs just in case. It did have a shared washer/dryer in hall with non working ice machines. Having a car is optional as there are lots of walkable restaurants, free buses and you can rent golf carts to get around."

"Our rooms didn’t have face towels or floor towel for the shower only very thin/ worn full body towels. I found a dirty sock rolled on the corner of the floor by the balcony. Restaurants close at 8-9pm despite Google says 10-11pm so we were only able to eat pizza instead of the steak house. For the price of rooms parking no included"

"The Congress Plaza Hotel was a great choice for location and price. The hotel itself is old. On the one hand, it is great because the lobby has high ceilings and detailed architecture. if it has gold elevators, etc. The rooms are small. However, I would definitely stay there again."
