"The staff were absolutely amazing - helpful and friendly. Our room was clean, very well equipped with a microwave and fridge. We LOVED the balcony overlooking the lake. The food was excellent. It's beautiful on Lake Bemidji. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there."

"I was at this property for less than 12 hours. We needed a stopping point for the night. We came across this place and the price wasn’t outrageous. I didn’t realize until the next morning in an email I saw that the company asks you to be there before 9pm for check in. We called and said we’d be a bit later than that and she was kind enough to wait for us. Check in was pleasant, and the room was absolutely perfect - it’s too bad we couldn’t stay longer and explore the property. I will be back...

"Beautiful place right on Garden Lake with access to the Boundary Waters! The motel had comfortable beds and a basic kitchen. My son and I borrowed a canoe for the day and had a beautiful, long paddle to BWCA. We also visited the Wolf Center, hiked, and had a great tour of the Poineer Mine. A very peaceful spot to come home to on our vacation— we hope to return! "
