Barceló San José

"Beautiful property not too far from the San Jose Airport. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Common areas are lovely. Paid for breakfast was generous with lots of delicious options. Friendly and professional staff. My only challenge was the free shuttle was challenging to book. Had to arrange through email that I was never successfully able to reach despite trying numerous times. Ended up taking a cab which was OK but would have been nice to be able to take advantage of the shuttle. Nice little spa just outside the hotel. We enjoyed a wonderful, reasonably priced massage. Hotel staff graciously allowed a late check out. All and all a wonderful value and we are very happy with our stay."

"Shuttle was prompt. Had the best cocktail of my life: (mango spicy absolute Tabasco…mmmmm). The mall is literally right next door. Easy quick place to stay. It was pouring so I couldn’t use the pool."
