"This is essentially a motel in Villers and as far as motels go, it was fine. The bedding and towels were clean but the room could not be called well-maintained otherwise. There were plenty of insects outside the doors and along the corridors. The fire alarm in another unit went off at 6:00 AM during my stay and remained blaring for around 10 minutes, though I cannot say whether this was actually the establishment's fault or whether the occupant was culpable. La vue sur le jardin dégagé est un grand plus avec la visite d’un écureuil au réveil. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux, fait maison et servi avec bonne humeur ! "I had the pleasure of staying at Villa des Iris at the beginning of December. For the first time after several months of traveling, I unfortunately, made a mistake in my dates and arrived unannounced and unexpected. That said, Jack and his wife were so welcoming and kind and accommodated me for 2 (vs the originally booked 1 night). I was the only one staying in the villa, but I had a very cozy and wonderful stay while I visited Bervais and Amiens."

"While the room was clean and the decor was very nice, our first floor room faced a busy intersection that handled big trucks and regular traffic. We wouldn't have noticed the noise but for the fact that it was very hot and the air conditioning didn't work. They kindly brought up a fan to circulate the air and cool things, but we had to sleep with windows open. Breakfast was good but we were too tired to appreciate it. We didn't use the spa."
