"This place really sucks, seems pretty nice in pictures but has been neglected, apparently for years. There are things like the balcony light not have a switch, the one of the celling fas not working, a single ac unit for the whole place. For these day and age not having Wifi, seems pretty ridiculous. The kitchen is supposed to be semi-equiped, but there is almost nothing. No cookware not utensils, not even coffee mugs. In general everything is in a very poorly and abandoned state. "

"Hotel Cerro Lodge Oh dear…I had a whole ecosystem in my room, and not in a good way. Constantly had medium-large ants coming into my room from the bathroom. Look - I know it’s Costa Rica, and I can handle some ants, but we’re talking about having to step on 30+ ants over the course of two days. The whole room felt like zero money has been put into it to maintain / upkeep the property. Wifi in the room was extremely slow (I ended up just using cellular data instead). "Cute idea, just poorly executed! The domo has no actual floor its just some boards with bamboo between some of the larger gaps, so the dome is filled with spiders, crickets, ants and other bugs. Booking this type of accomodation we expected some bugs but this was hundreds of bugs, and being stung and biten all night, so we got very little actual sleep. Also when we got there the dome looked cute but hadn't actually been cleaned properly, stains on the pillow cases and sheets. Very...

"Breakfast was typical. Server plated your food. Not sure if you could return for more rice & beans. There is no coffee maker, or water with glasses. Room was clean with air conditioning, pool area was large with plenty of seats. Over all, would not return. "

La chambre était grande et propre mais dépourvu de décorations, serviettes seulement 2 pour la douche, pas de tapis de bain, pas de serviette à main, pas de bte de crème ou bonnet de bain ou autre qui est pratique.
