Absolutely loved our stay in this hotel, it was quite dated inside our room but the rest of the hotel was lovely. The staff were very polite, friendly and very helpful. The location is amazing and the views are incredible. Id definitely stay again.

Location, Breakfast and Service are extraordinary!

Amazing experience with this hotel, the service is extraordinary! Once they saw that we have 2 kids they upgraded our room for free, we didn't ask them to do that! They are superiors 😊😊 We booked one night but since the location, breakfast and service are top, we stayed 3 nights at the end. Very recommended 👌

All that you need in Chamonix

It was amazing because it have all that you need in the travel. The bedroom always was clean and hot. The brrakfast had the necesary things AND variable menú.

We had a great stay at this hotel. It is conveniently located to shops and dining. Parking was included and plentiful. Nice variety of food for breakfast. There is a lounge area for guests to enjoy and visit with other guests. The lounge area included a small library, pool table, fireplace....very nice option. The view of the mountains is spectacular. Our check-in/out was very easy and the staff was very pleasant. Would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous!

Extremely happy with the service I received at this hotel. Claire and the team were helpful, friendly and very accomodating. The room was clean and the hotel was cosy and comfortable. We were very impressed with the complimentary snacks and coffee. The hotel is in a fantastic location close to everything! I can’t thank the staff enough for making our stay so enjoyable and stress free! We will certainly be coming back here!

I loved this hotel, it could be considered rustic but it is perfect for it's location.. it is older but very clean and well maintained and very convenient. Staff were lovely, friendly but not imposing.. breakfast was good but there are other possibly better options in town. Hotel is very convenient, you are right in town though make sure your GPS/Phone is charged as a large section of town is pedestrianized so it can be hard to figure out how to get to your hotel if driving!

Great location; dilapidated property

The only thing going well for this property is the location and the friendly staff at the front desk. We stayed in Room 35 from June 25-30 2025 and I couldn't wait to leave. - We asked for a higher floor and a fan in the room while making the reservation; both of which were not available. Fan was provided from day 2 after having words with the receptionist on day 1. - The floor in the toilet area was uneven and soft under my feet; I was greatful I didn't fall through! The toilet area had no sink; where am I supposed to wash my hands after? If I am to use the sink in the bathroom, then why bother separating the toilet from the entire bathroom? - There were just 2 electrical outlets in the room; 1 in the bathroom and 1 behind the bedside table which was hard to get to. It was very difficult to charge our devices there. - The tiles in the balcony were shaking under our feet; it was very easy to lose balance and fall there. - The room was tiny ; there was insufficient space to store luggage, the street lights bothered us at night, breakfast was mediocre at best (no warm food; just processed food, bread, real honey and some whole fresh fruit). We came from a fabulous stay at a 3 star hotel in Beckenried, Switzerland. This hotel should not be a 3 star by any stretch of imagination.

Phenomenal time in Chamonix!

We had no idea what to expect when we arrived in Chamonix. Checking in was a breeze thanks to “C” and she gave us the lay of the land (what restaurants to eat at, what amenities were available, and where we would catch the Aiguille du Midi Télépherique the next morning. Breakfast was very good and plentiful and our room had amazing views of the Aiguilles and Mont-Blanc was off to our right. Stunning! While some aspects of the room were getting showing some wear, the place was spacious and perfectly comfortable for two adults and a 17 & 14 year old. No issues whatsoever. Would go back there without question! La Calèche was an excellent dinner recommendation. So good we went back the next day. Merci Beaucoup!!

The location was great and my room had a balcony so I could enjoy the mountain view and river Arve, but it’s a dated property and when I went to have a shower in the morning before departure, there was no hot water. Thankfully the weather was warm. The shower could do with updating as the shower head faced the loose glass partition, which meant the water couldn’t be contained and wet the entire floor. I had to use multiple towels to soak up the mess. Convenient for one night but I wouldn’t stay there again.
