Lovely Simple Boutique Hotel in an excellent location to all amenities. The Hotel is simple but very clean located in an excellent Beach location but also having good access to Tavernas & Restaurants. There is a bus stop near the Hotel and a convenient Tour Operator also as well as convenience Shops. All the staff here are a close team playing an important part in ensuring you have a good stay. Really relaxing place to be , everything is easy and straightforward…

The property was very nice. A bit older, but very well maintained. The rooms are generously sized and the bed comfy. We had a small deck with a water and sunrise view. Walkable area and right on the beach. The staff was so nice and very helpful. The free breakfast was typical buffet style with many choices. I would stay here again.

The hotel is very conveniently placed right by the sandy beach. The room was very clean and generally the hotel areas are clean. The staff are very friendly and service was excellent. Could do with outside toilets and changing rooms, so guests wouldn't have to go back to their room after a swim.

Be aware your first night if you arrive later in the evening. It seems common practice that they put you in the worst room or open room (not the room category you pay for). Then say something is wrong with the room (like air conditioning). But the rooms have people in them. Multiple guests we talked to said that they did the same to them. So it seems like common practice because they overbook the better rooms and move you once one comes available. The next day or 2 they move you and apologize and offer you free buffet or free lunch for the duration of your stay. It’s seems common practice that they have actually made up to sets of menu’s to deal with this issue. One for people that are comped for complaining and people that are paying. Staff are told who gets which menu. Other than room issues, the place is well maintained, food is good and staff are great. I would be cautious with this property or their other properties on Crete as this seems like a common practice for this company. Too bad the first night started with 2 hours of arguments at 11pm. Especially since we called ahead to confirm our reservations that morning and late arrival. This is also the second time they have done this even though last year we were assured that this would not happen again.

Overall, the hotel is great: clean, spacious rooms, a large and beautiful swimming pool, and lovely gardens. However, there are a few things that could be improved. For example, the in-room beverage facilities could be better. If you want to offer coffee pods, please don't charge your guests for them. You are in the luxury hotel category, so this should be included. It is also standard practice to provide two small bottles of complimentary water each day. A selection of teas presented in a tea box would also be appreciated and would certainly enhance the guest experience. Most guests are unlikely to use more tea bags than you provide, but leaving only two tea bags per day feels a little stingy. On the other hand, you probably don't need to provide bathrobes. Given the hot climate, very few guests use them, so you could save some money there instead. We also couldn't find an ironing board or iron in the room. It could be better if it is available. I was also disappointed with the breakfast selection. There was a heavy focus on eggs and sausages prepared in different ways, while vegetarian options were limited. I had hoped to see more traditional Greek breakfast items, such as feta cheese, local pastries, and other regional specialties. Despite these points, I enjoyed my stay and would happily return.

Amazing hotel with great ocean views and awesome food! They change up the breakfast and dinner every day so you never get bored of the same food! The staff is also very friendly and nice.

Old style hotel, great staff and location

Property is a bit old style. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast and in general, food is good Location and s good and got its private beach and sunbeds etc. But its mainly for certain age group, mostly above 60 or so. Location is a good to go to Platanias as well as Chania, short cab or bus drive to both those places for bars, restaurants and night life.

My husband and I chanced upon this property as we looked for a beach hotel. Our first impression was met with a very warm welcome. During our stay we were so impressed we requested to extend our stay. Katerina was a wonderful host and this request was painless. Nothing is too much for her to make sure you are happy and comfortable and walks in and out of reception to the pool checking her guests needs are met. Excellent customer Service. The pool is clean and sparkling. Breakfast service impeccable. We are so impressed with this small private but comfortable hotel. Gold stars!

Underbart läge alldeles på stranden, nära till flera restauranger och shopping. Frukosten var något enkel, saknade goda brödsorter (fanns flera varianter grovtbröd) fantastisk omelet som tillagas av en mycket trevlig kvinna på plats. Positiv personal som verkligen vill göra allt för dig! Städningen kanon, de kommer 2 gånger per dag. Och så skönt att inte ha ungar springandes i poolen eller under frukost!!

C’était bien pour un 4 étoiles, la porte de la douche avait l’air sale mais je crois que l’eau est dure.. Le personnel était vraiment sympathique ce qui a amélioré notre expérience. Le petit déjeuner inclus avec notre séjour varier et généreux mais pas le meilleur que nous avons eu!

Ticker av alle bokser for et flott opphold

Helt topp hotell, fantastisk beliggenhet rett på stranden med magisk service. Rene rom og godt vedlikeholdt, flott mat i restaurant og frokost buffe. Dette må man kunne klassifisere som et komplett pakke av kos og nytelse, uten å betale skjorta. Personale var meget imøtekommende og ga det lille ekstra som vi alltid ønsker.

We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights and it was a last minute decision to book there. The position of the hotel is excellent - straight on the beach, with private beach of the hotel, and that’s exactly what we’ve booked this hotel for, together with the wish of having some fresh breeze and sound of the waves entering our room. For this we’ve originally booked a beachfront double, but managed to change for a suite, which had a large terrace overlooking the sea and the beach. As fantastic as it sounded, we could hardly keep the door to our terrace open, as our suite turned out to be just above/next to a kitchen, so instead of fresh air we’ve had smell of kitchen and some grill all the time. The hotel overall seemed to be something of an assembly line, in which there were so many guests, that, either because were not enough hands or time to clean the rooms thoroughly, the room didn’t give us an idea of freshness. The breakfast in the hotel is probably ticking all the boxes in terms of items to choose from in the breakfast buffet, but was very basic and didn’t impress us with the great quality. Then there was some language barrier, too, as a chef at the egg station didn’t manage to understand what “fried eggs” was. That said, the reception staff was friendly and the beach bar was fairly good. To sum up, great location, but only OK hotel.

Great just for the location and friendly staff

Great location and amazing private beach. Hotel staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel per se however is outdated. The pool area is not appealing and breakfast could have been better. The bedroom was old, but decent size. Balcony of our room was dirty and with a broken chair, and the bathroom was a little dirty.
