We had an amazing time at Kedrissos. From the very start, the communication was excellent. We arrived after reception closed and they sent both an email and WhatsApp with clear instructions. Getting in and finding our room were easy. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a standard room (no sea view) but still had a balcony overlooking the room water feature and a large bush gave us privacy from the car park. It was a great space for a morning coffee. Breakfast was plentiful- a lot of options and fantastic start to the day. It might get repetitive if you are there for longer than a week, but we enjoyed the variety. And there are cafes around if you wanted to mix it up. Location wise- would advise transport to Chania town as the road needed to get there is very busy with very poor pavements. Not ideal for pushchairs or people with mobility issues. There are plenty of amazing restaurants closer to home though and After a few days in the area, we tried a night in the old town and found it too busy. All of the hotel staff were lovely, and genuinely welcoming. It was an instantly comfortable experience. We recommend the 20 minute walk to Yannis and Iguana beaches- they are much nicer than the beaches closest to the hotel. Avoid the main road and exit the property by the back gate. We didn’t try the pool, but my partner was grateful for the gym. This isn’t a modern space, but has all you need for a work out.

Huone melko pieni, mutta siisti ja näkymä merelle ja altaalle. Hyvä ilmastointi ja keittiö tarpeeksi suuri tehdä ruokaa 4henkiselle perheelle. Henkilökunta todella mukavaa ja avuliasta. Miinuksina ehkä se, että altaalle ei saa tuoda mitään omia juomia/ruokia, allas auki vain klo 10-19.30 ja allasravintolassa jäätelöt/juomat eivät olleet mitenkään edullisia.

From start to finish this hotel really knows its stuff. Its super clean, the staff are amazing - friendly, funny, whilst being professional - just a joy to be around. Breakfast is wholesome and fresh and the food in the restaurant is great and they've got the pricing right too. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday, which has low-key easy listening music (loved that too) around the pool and a good night's sleep then this is the place for you. Tends to attract an older 'audience', with a variety of nationalities staying, (many of whom are repeat guests) but that is in keeping with the tranquility. Andreas has a wealth of knowledge of the local area. So, Andreas, Niko and all the staff, thank you for looking after us so well.

Prima en schoon hotel net buiten het drukke Chania. Kamer was super schoon en ontbijt was prima en zwembad zag er ook goed uit, maar heb ik geen gebruik van gemaakt.

Accueil sympathique

Hôtel très sympa , bien placé pour aller au port de la Canée en voiture . Personnel adorable, belle piscine , bon resto . Point négatif : notre chambre n’était pas vraiment dans l’hôtel mais un bâtiment sur le bord de la route avec vu sur les poubelles . Dans ce bâtiment vous êtes clairement hors de l’hôtel dommage ….

I travel a lot, and this is the first time I have had such a terrible experience. So much that for the first time in my life, I had to leave an hotel and find somewhere else to stay. We booked our trip 6 months ago. We arrived at night with our 2 kids. Compared to what they advertise, the « apartment » they gave us was way smaller, way older and the AC was extremely loud, which made it complicated to sleep. The balcony was stuck to the next apartment balcony. We went to the lobby but they told us we had to wait for the next day. They showed us one room almost identical to the first one we had. The only better thing was the view. We gave up and told ourselves to accept that this was a very bad hotel… Unfortunately this was not the end of the story. When we came back after a long day and started to put the kids to sleep, we realized that the only AC was in the bedroom and that the living room where two of us were supposed to sleep had no AC!! So we had to spend another sleepless night. In the morning we explained the situation and told them we couldn’t stay given everything. The manager, Andreas, got very angry at us. Even thought he refused to reimburse us for the remaining nights, we still left as it would have been awful to stay there. Fortunately we explained the situation to Expedia. They really listened, we showed them the pictures and they agreed with us and reimbursed us. Thanks to Expedia we were able to still enjoy the remaining of our only week of vacation.

The service was amazing with the very humorous staff. The view in the room 115 was absolutely amazing on one side was a mountain view and on the other side there was a beach view.The staff are very compassionate about there job. The room was very spacious and had lots of light throught the huge windows.

El hotel perfecto

Se trata de un hotel con ambiente familiar. El personal es muy amable y se preocupan para que sus huespedes pasen unas vacaciones inolvidables. Prestan sombrillas sin coste para la playa o para excursiones. Aconsejan, realizan las reservas y hasta nos llamaron a la habitacion para avisarnos que habia una fiesta con musica griega. El hotel esta un poco alejado del centro pero hay una parada de bus justo en frente y tienen a disposicion los tickets en recepcion. En cuanto a la habitacion, nosotros teniamos un estudio con nevera y una pequeña cocina. El estudio era muy comodo, con 2 camas de 90 y con una terraza con vistas al mar. La piscina estupenda tambien y cuenta un chiringuito abierto hasta la 1.00 y que sirve tambien a la gente que esta en las tumbonas.

We stayed at Hotel Kedrissos from the 29th June until the 6th July. It was absolutely amazing, the rooms are immaculate on arrival and you get such a friendly welcome from all of the staff. The cleaners are exceptional and every day after returning from our day’s activity, we found the room in pristine condition. The pool is a great size, with room for plenty of people and has a range of depths so is good for swimming lengths, standing and chatting or playing games. We ate at the restaurant twice and both times were very impressed with both the food and the service. On the first night we each ordered a Gyros but were advised to share that and have 2 starters instead. Andreas was right! The portion was a very healthy size and we were both left very full. Then out came the free dessert and a bottle of raki! Something we didn’t realise before we arrived was that it’s common custom to give free dessert in all of Crete! The room was excellent, with a very comfy bed and quite a posh bathroom. I was very impressed with the water pressure from the shower! Very relaxing after a long day in the sun! Finally, the location was perfect! Easy transfers to a wide range of activities! The bus into Chania is super quick and easy and costs €2 per person (buy on the bus) to get there and then in the evening was around €1.50 (buy at the ticket office) to return. Hotel Kedrissos is also only about a 10 minute walk from a lovely sandy beach with quite a good variety of sea life! 10/10!!!

This hotel was very nice! Pleasant rooms with cooking facilities and private bathroom. All super clean. Lovely pool. Restaurant/bar food and drink was good quality and service excellent. Very convenient for lunch after sunbathing or if too tired to go out after days excursions. Hotel location was good for us – a little outside Chania in quiet area but close enough to get into town easily and quickly. Nice beach and bars within walking distance. Chania town was lovely, stunning seafront, lots of shops and restaurants. What really made this holiday though was the hotel owners and staff. So friendly, helpful and cheerful. Lots of advice about trips and local restaurants without even asking and anything else they thought we needed to know. I have been to many hotels but never one like this where it felt as though it was not just about running a business but really wanting guests to have a lovely time. Highly recommended. Thank you Andreas, family and staff for a wonderful holiday.

We had a fantastic stay, the apartments are lovely and we had a great view of the pool and sea from our balcony! Andreas and Annie were incredibly helpful, with recommendations of what’s is best to do and how is best to do it. They would book tours, hire cars, highlight maps of things to do and annotate how to get there/what restaurants to go to! Andreas sent us to several amazing restaurants and went as far to write a list of the best Greek dishes to order at throumbi - we loved the mystery of not knowing what was ordered and the food was insane. Nothing was too much for them and they always welcomed you with a smile! Would totally recommend and come back to stay!

Gångavstånd till stad och strand. För pigga ben.

Väldigt fint och rent och trevligt hotell. Underbar personal som va hjälpsamma till 100% Bra med bilparkering. Inga som helst problem med något. Kan tänka oss att åka tillbaka.
