"The hotel is in an excellent location and rooms are comfortable if a little dated. We had some issues and had to be moved, staff was excellent. Extremely helpful and polite. Always doing what they could. We’d stay again."

"A charming hotel, with a friendly and helpful staff. A good place for a solo traveller. Although, it's a little way out of town, it has a good size car park, a complimentary mini bus service, that goes into town twice in the morning and returns twice a day and a bus stop virtually opposite the entrance. Was glad I was warned about the lack of air conditioning, so I brought a small fan which I needed despite being able to leave the French windows to my balcony open. The choice of hot food at the breakfast was the best I've ever seen. I did my best to try most of it but would have needed a far longer stay. The free trip around the island was a delightful surprise. The mini bus driver was so full of interesting stories and help to find places to visit."

"Room very clean and breakfast very good Position of hotel and good for town and bus terminal We booked a deluxe twin room which was much smaller than expected had no air conditioning and shower pressure very poor. Beds comfortable and location quiet though. Staff (especially breakfast ones) were very friendly and helpful. A mini fridge would have been an improvement."

"Traditional hotel offering a comfortable stay with helpful & friendly staff. Room was clean & adequate. Good selection on the breakfast buffet and a bonus of scrambled eggs on request. Decent sized car park (chargeable) All in all, good value for our 2 night break."

"Excellent hotel in a great location, albeit up hill from the harbour. Clean and well appointed room and amenities. The fabulous restaurant had an extensive menu that catered for all tastes, with freshly cooked food, generous potions, quite simply delicious. However, it was the staff that really made this a wonderful hotel to stay in, friendly and helpful, they made you feel welcomed and very much at home."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Ambassadeur and would happily return. The location is fantastic, right opposite the beach with beautiful sea views, and it’s only a short bus ride into St Helier, making it an ideal base for exploring Jersey. What really made our stay special was the staff. Every member of the team was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, always happy to go the extra mile with a smile. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout, and our room was comfortable, quiet, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The food was another highlight. Breakfast offered plenty of choice, and the evening meals were excellent, with generous portions and great quality. It was clear that a lot of care goes into both the cooking and the service. For anyone looking for a friendly, well-run hotel that offers fantastic value in a beautiful seaside location, I couldn’t recommend the Hotel Ambassadeur highly enough. Thank you to everyone for making our holiday so enjoyable—we’re already looking forward to coming back!"

"Staff and services excellent for 3 Star hotel Ventilation is totally inadequate with NO aircon Breakfast is superb and refreshed regularly Bar and restaurant prices in line with other hostelries in area 25 min walk to Liberty bus station and 16 minutes to murky beach All in all great for kids with water park games room and activity centre"

"The staff were absolutely excellent- friendly, professional and went above and beyond. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was also very good - breakfast and dinner. Wide range of choices cooked and presented excellently. Would definitely stay again - highly recommended."
