"When we entered the room it smelled like used socks, which was not that pleasant at all. We showered and there was only one towel available. The staff gave us a second one after we asked, but there should be at least 2 if you made reservations for 2 people. The bed slept great though."

The f1 hotel in Coquelles is in need of some updating,it serves a purpose and thats about it,I arrived 2 hours after check in time to find my room was still in an unmade condition. Even after I was allowed in ,the floor hadn't been vacuumed, there was dust and bits everywhere. I slept OK,the breakfast was a disappointment too,nothing special to write home about,this...

"Decent for the price paid. The rooms are a bit small, and shower is separate from the toilet. The sink is in the room, not in the bathroom. Very basic, ok if you're staying for 1 night before crossing the channel the morning after."

"The room was very clean and quiet and the aircon was amazing. Wonderful temperature for sleeping. The pool, sauna and steam room were excellent. The on site bar was great, with a casual vibe and plenty of chairs and parasols given the heatwave. We will definitely be returning."
