"We stayed for 3 nights in July. The hotel staff was very nice and caring. The hotel is clean and nicely maintained overall, although we had a small issue of water accumulation in the sink which was later fixed with some delay. The restaurant offers good breakfast. Would certainly recommend booking with breakfast included. The hotel is in a quite area and close to attractions. We enjoyed staying in a room overlooking the Shannon river. "I would have given 5 stars, however with no hot water on the first night and third night I was less than impressed. The receptionist AnnLynn was very helpful and managed to give me a card for a room a couple of blocks away, not perfect but at least I was able to shower after a hot day sightseeing. All staff very helpful. Wonderful grounds and plenty of very pleasant walks."

"The courtyard B&B was a fantastic place to stay for my daughter and I. We were traveling through from Killarney to Galway and stayed one night in this hotel. It was clean, warm, friendly, and Seiff. We did the banquet at Bunratty Castle, which was fun and in walking distance from this B&B, the beds were so nice that we overslept and missed breakfast however, I can only imagine it was great given all the other factors in this day . highly recommend."

"Front desk check in person was nice and helpful. Not sure why I got charged $24 for parking. I parked the car there one afternoon and left early the next morning. So, what the heck? The advertised rate for non hotel guests is $12 a day. And they said that I parked free as a guest. So, this is a rip off."
