"On arrival, the staff advised my partner and I that there was a issue with the room that was booked and were upgraded to the Bowie room. The staff advised about about the restaurants close by. The room was well laid out. The meals we had there were very good, Saturday night and Sunday lunch there was live music. We were a short walk from the beach. "I was greeted by the owner who was just delightful and so friendly. The room was clean and modernised (as best as country motels are!) and I was able to walk across the road to get dinner. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again."

"When we arrived to check in the lady asked for my card details and when I asked why when I have already paid I was told she was just doing her job. Strange as i had paid in full. She was very helpful in directing us to the best places to eat. The rooms were big, clean and spacious the beds were super comfy and there wasn't much noise when we were there, the bathrooms were OK. The shower looked like it had seen better days and it had no water pressure that being said I did read a pre warning...

"The room was a great size and comfortable. The property is very dated and tired, but it is functionally fine, especially for a short stay. We had a small issue with out room and the staff were EXCELLENT at fixing it immediately for us, despite it being after hours. Cannot fault their handling of the situation. As brand new owners they were very apologetic, however it was out of everyone's control. what was in their control is how they handled it, which was perfect. A credit to the property!"

"We thought the cabin that we were assigned was extremely expensive for the condition of the building and for the location in the park. We were right on the main road… our bedroom window looked directly on to the footpath of main road. Considering the emptiness of the park that night, I thought we could have been assigned a nicer spot."
