Quality Inn Harpers Ferry - Charles Town

"Clean room. Very close to Appalachian trail, close to park information center, shuttle service to lower town. NO elevator, so stairs were hard for us carrying luggage. Desk clerk helped which was wonderful. Being so close to everything & being able to have a 1st floor room. Would definitely stay their again. We r in r 80's. Stairs r hard , but managed parr of the trail"

"Location is excellent. Walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops and bars as well as historical sites. Staff is always excellent, neatly dressed, well spoken and professional. The property is an architectural gem. The lobby, bar and general interior details like the interior woodwork, floors, elevators and mail chutes are remarkable. Best shower ever! Go to Knead Bread for breakfast. It would be a standout in any major city."

"We have stayed here before. Unsure why it would be called luxury. We do like coming. Breakfast is nice,not $60 though. The first course of breakfast is usually dry,left out too long and should not be included at all. Our tubs drain was unattached,and the sinks had no stoppers at all. A concern for my diamond ring. The property also canceled our dinner reservation3 days previous. Many light bulbs were out in our room. The vents and shower were in need of spring cleaning."

"Building is a little out of date and needs some updating. Room could use a deep clean and our room smelled moist. The was an amazing restaurant on site (but I think the restaurant manager said that they were moving soon). The food was exceptional."

"Our room as clean and fresh smelling. The office clerk was able to put us on the first floor which is always a plus. Our air conditioner worked wonderfully, which is always a bonus. The only complaint we had for our room as the shower head was basically a trickle. There was plenty of water pressure when you turned on the faucet but it didn't translate to the shower head. We appreciate that Motel 6 is now carpet free. This makes the room feel cleaner. Our bed was firm but comfortable. We travel several times in the Summer and have found we appreciate our stays at Motel 6 better then most chains."
