"I don’t usually write hotel reviews, but after our stay at The Cooper, I had to. I can honestly say it’s the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at, and I’ve been fortunate enough to stay at some very nice hotels. What made this experience stand out was the hospitality. From the moment we arrived, everyone made us feel so welcome and cared for. The staff remembered our names and even our dog’s name, which meant so much to us. They were so sweet to him throughout our stay and made him feel just as welcome as we were. Those little details might seem small, but they made the whole experience feel personal and special. Everyone we met was warm, thoughtful, and attentive. You can tell the team genuinely cares about their guests, and that made our stay unforgettable. We felt so well taken care of that leaving was genuinely hard. I already can’t wait to come back to Charleston and stay at The Cooper again. Thank you to the entire team for making our trip so special!"

"This is a very comfortable hotel right in the middle of Charleston with lots of good restaurants, museums and historical attractions within walking distance. The staff is helpful, omnipresent and courteous. Not cheap, however. Rooms are reasonably priced but amenities can be costly. We liked our room, but some issue with water pressure and water running through cold water faucet never really got cold. Overall we would recommend the Bennett/ provided you are not on a budget! Complimentary car service was a big plus."
