"The room was clean. Some small maintenance issues needed to be taken care of. The entry code system and notification was very efficient. It felt more like a hostel than a hotel. The location felt a little unsafe to walk to shops and restaurants. The taxi service number that I was given did not show after two calls and half an hour. The front desk called another company and they arrived in two minutes. Added stress to my airport journey. "

But if you’re looking for comfort, cleanliness, or a little more than basic amenities, and a better pool area I would recommend spending a bit more and staying elsewhere. The beds were fine and nice that there was a parking garage. Also close to super market and 20 minutes drive to center of aix-en-provence which is a lovely city. "

"Hotel Le Pigonnet is an enchanting place to stay, the classic Provencal style of the hotel rivaled by the gardens that surround it. Every room, every outdoor space, is chic and charming, so it's easy to understand why it attracts celebrities like Brad Pitt and George Clooney. I stayed in the entry level room. The bathroom was tiny so I would recommend upgrading if you're traveling with someone or if you are a larger person. Special shout out to Thierry, the sommelier, and Dimitry, the bartender, both of whom were warm, welcoming and professional."
