This is the best staffed and maintained anesthetically pleasing, functionally useful, hotel that I've ever stayed in in my entire life. And the restaurant downstairs was top notch from the staff to the food quality and taste.

Very clean and modern hotel with an excellent on property restaurant, parking situation is a bit awkward a valet would be helpful, but overall little to complain about. Would highly recommend and will repeat next time I am in town.

The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. We ate dinner in the Poplar Restaurant. The food was excellent, and they gave us a free dessert for our anniversary. Everything is brand new, and the staff was very helpful and kind.

The Virginia Guesthouse is by far the best hotel we have been to in years and we travel all over the world. Absolutely FANTASTIC and friendly staff, incredible facilities and maintenance, excellent restaurants. They truly have everything! We even bought one of their super plush robes to take home with us. We HIGHLY recommend this hotel! A definite 5 star experience!

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at the Virginia Guesthouse. The hotel had opened up just the month before, and the property was very-well appointed, and immaculate. It felt like a room night should have cost at least a couple times more than I did. Added bonus, our breakfast at their restaurant was amazing.

The hotel is only 2 months old and is spotless! Great rooms and the public spaces are incredible. Soaring ceilings and great meeting spaces. There's large windowed room near the elevator on each floor that's a great place to work or start your day in quiet if you're an early riser like me. Great property and lots of passion in their service. It's only 10 to 15 minutes walking to anywhere on campus. A must stay in Charlottesville.
