"This was an old pub/hotel so had that lovely ambiance. It was comfortable and clean; the staff was friendly and helpful. But the room had plaster patched that needed to be painted so looked unattended to. The breakfast was unexceptional & expensive. Other than those two things - it was fine for the price."

"This was lovely in many ways. My room was spotless and spacious, Breakfast was hot and plentiful with a reasonable choice. The new season has maybe not kicked in as some of the outside areas could do with a little tidy up. All the staff I met were friendly and helpful. This is not the fault of the hotel, but it is worth noting that there are few public transport links to the local towns and seemingly none before 9.30 am or after about 7 pm.,"

"Arrived and checked in quickly. Efficient young chap did all the preliminaries and we headed to our room. Room was in the main building at the front. Large room with plenty of wall lights and lamps as well as spot lights. Lovely sized room and bathroom. Plenty of boiling hot water as soon as the tap was turned. Beds were clean and very comfy. "This is located almost on a roundabout of a major road, however, it wasn’t noisy at all. Close to stone henge and literally across the street from a restaurant pub. Great people. The site itself is a little muddy due to some construction happening but I’m sure it will be fine in the summer time. "
