"Nice and peaceful location. Mostly heard birds chirping as the main sound. Clean and has shampoo, conditioner and soap in the shower. The stand alone bathroom had no hand soap, which was a bit odd. Has two different laundry and dryer locations on the property that are coin operated, you need to bring your own laundry soap which we had to go to the grocery store to purchase. Sleeps up to 8 people. Each bed had a heated blanket if needed (not sure about the fold out couch because we didn't use...

"Location was excellent and the Suites have a magnificent view overlooking the golf course and lake. Very spacious lounge are and kitchenette downstairs and ensuite bedroom upstairs with huge king size bed. Lovely outside deck for relaxing afternoon nibbles and drinks. I was actually booked in the standard room but had no view so I was fortunate enough to be able to upgrade to the suite which had the magnificent views. The staff were always very friendly and extremely helpful with any request...

It's a 5-minute walk to the supermarket, a 20-minute walk to Riva Side Market, and there are also McDonald's, a liquor store, a steakhouse, and an Italian restaurant nearby. "We enjoyed the fact that it was very peaceful once we were in our unit. The water pressure in the shower has a great water pressure. The towels were fluffy and absorbent. The drink caddy was topped up daily. The safety aspect of handrails for the stairs and along the balcony was also appreciated especially when it had been raining. The undercover parking was also appreciated by us. Thank you for making our first bit to the South Island an amazing experience. Kind regards to the C Motel...
