"A beautiful boutique style hotel with an exceptional restaurant"

"The hotel is centrally located inside the old city walls. You can walk to all of the major historical monuments. The breakfast was great - Continental but good value and tasty. The restaurant right next door was good. We greatly enjoyed a dinner at La Tertre (you will need a reservation)"

"Fantastic long weekend in Saint Emilion! Our host Michel was wonderful, super helpful and friendly throughout our stay at 537. Very communicative offering lots of advice on the local area and any questions we had were answered quickly and clearly. "Partner and I had such an incredible time here. Located between pomerol and st Emillion. Dream location. Owners make you feel so welcome and have an incredible understanding of the locals wines. This is a hidden gem and run by the owners from the heart. Would have loved to keep this a secret but just have to share it. Thank you thank thank you for the incredible days."

"Beautifully decorated, great staff and fabulous breakfast"

"Lovely hosts with great local recommendations. Went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed . Spent a full day relaxing by the pool during a heat wave. Easy access to St Emilion. Comes with a bonus friendly fat chateau cat on the grounds."

"What a fabulous place. Beautiful rooms, friendly owners, very special."

"Dominique and Laura are wonderful hosts. We travel extensively, and this was one of our favorite places to stay! The location is peaceful and serene. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a highlight of the stay . . . delicious and homemade. The home is about 15 minutes from Saint Emilion and near several wineries. I highly recommend staying with Dominique and Laura!"

"It was an absolute delight to stay with Nathalie and Olivier who have lovingly restored the Chateau. They were charming hosts and made the stay one to remember. The renovation of the chateau provides a modern and spacious room that has also retained the charm of the old building. The meals were delightful and prepared by the hosts using fresh local produce. I'd thoroughly recommend Malis Castera to anyone wanting to stay in the wine region."

"We stayed 1 night. The hotel is clean, quiet and beautifully decorated. The staff were helpful. You can park in front of the hotel for a fee. The breakfast was ok, too heavily on the carbs/sweets."

"The location was beautiful and the rooms carefully curated. Lovely atmosphere and had an absolutely delightful breakfast. Nice tour of facility and taste of their wines. Overall, great experience!"
