"Beautiful château! The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated, and the air conditioning was a huge plus. The grounds surrounding the château are stunning, peaceful, and exceptionally well maintained. We saw a hare and lots of birds, which made the setting even more special. The breakfast wasn't very extensive, but everything was delicious and of excellent quality. Honestly, I didn't want to go anywhere else—I just wanted to stay at the château and enjoy the peace and tranquility."

"Staff were wonderful and extremely helpful, room not laid out well, double bed in a corner with luggage rack on the open side. No bar or restaurant, though plenty, a good 10mins walk away! Probably not a good choice for older tourists! Younger travellers may well appreciate “the vibe” more!"

Das Frühstück war extrem gut für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie. Etwas schade war, dass das Wasser am Abreisetag (evtl. aufgrund einer Baustelle?) im ganzen Viertel abgestellt wurde und man uns das nicht gesagt hat. "Chambre avec toiles d'araignée et traces de doigts noires sur le lambris pvc au plafond de la salle de bain. Le wifi ne fonctionne pas lors de mon arrivée et j'ai une visio. On me conseille de prendre mon PC pour aller boire un café au Campanile à côté pour voir si leur réseau fonctionne... Je demande une facture par mail pour mon séjour au règlement à mon arrivée. J'ai dû la redemander 2 jours plus tard lors de mon départ en papier. Le petit déjeuner est varié et le personnel en salle sympa....

"The actual building and rooms are much nicer than the pics. Room was a bit on the smaller side with no closets for clothes or a tea kettle (but you can get one from the front desk) but very clean and comfy beds. The view from my room on 8th floor was decent. Breakfast is pretty good except for the coffee which was spoilt by the powdered milk in the machine- get a double expresso and add fresh milk (they even have soy milk and almond milk). "I loved every minute of my time at Maison Pavlov. The owners and staff were personable, helpful and accommodating during my stay at this beautiful property. The building is impeccably decorated and immaculately clean. The breakfast - especially the home made waffles - was delicious and the garden was a haven of relaxation. "The staff were nice and the hotel itself is nice. However, upon arrival, their system was down, which resulted in a 3 hour delay for checking in. Then, their system AC did not properly work. My room was overheated, and they did not have any fans on property. On my last night, their system AC (and all electricity) were out for 30-40 minutes…all during a heatwave. It made for miserable evenings and attempts at sleeping."

"Stayed in a prestige room and it was spacious, clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable although the mattress was on the slightly softer side. Tall ceilings on the first floor rooms. The pool was a little lack luster and on the small side but nice to have as an option. Small gym area equipped with all essentials. Valet parking worked smoothly. Staff is professional and friendly, we really found this property to be a true 5 star experience. We will stay here next time we’re in Bordeaux."
