The room was very tired and dirty. The carpet was filthy and very stained. The toilet seat was yellow and sticky and previous occupants urine stains on the rim of the toilet bowl. My husband had to wipe the toilet rim and seat before we could use it. Disgusting. When we complained to the manager he shook his head and sent the young receptionist to speak to us. We asked to move rooms but they advised that the hotel was fully booked. We therefore checked out the following morning.

Super beachside location
The hotel is in a superb position at the centre of Chatelaillon-Plage. Our Superieure room on the 2nd floor faced the sea and was quiet and comfortable. There is a large public car park about 300m away, or parking in adjacent streets. Parking is free outside July and August. Breakfast was good, with a range of bread, baked goods, savouries, etc., although the fresh fruit selection was uninspired. The carpet in our room was quite marked, but otherwise all was in good condition.

good little find
It was a lovely hotel right on the front. The room was good and the reception staff were attentive and helpful. We did not eat in the restaurant as we didn't really like what was on the menu, although this seems to be quite similar wherever you go. The bed was a little too hard, as were the pillows but appreciate this is a personal preference. We would stay here again although would try and get one of the rooms with a balcony

We would stay here again
Our two-night stay was fine. Good position right on the beach, and pleasant staff. We ate in the restaurant on the second night: the cooking was excellent, but the service was very slow, and dogs in the restaurant are something we would prefer not to encounter. Beware that the hotel has no parking — you have to find a spot in a nearby street. Outside July-August, this is fortunately free!

Nice hotel near to beach
Hotel in centre of Chatelaillon-Plage. Nice greeting, was presented with a small bottle of champagne in celebration of wedding anniversary. Superior Room was comfortable, side facing with sea view. Appears some of the hotel is new and some old, has a Michelin star restaurant in the new section, but overall a very basic hotel which was fine as we only stayed for one night. Massive negative was the breakfast, which was incredibly poor value. The hotel seems to be set up to employ as little staff as possible. Essentially it was 15 euros each for a yoghurt croissant and a machine made coffee each! There are plenty of beach front cafes to visit offering much better value.

Overlooking the beach. You can leave the car parked as easy to get around, train in walking distance, takes 10 mins in it to get into centre of Le Rochelle. It was perfect

Great new hotel near the beach
It's a great new hotel, the room are nice and modern, bed comfy, the staff is very nice. Maybe for breakfast they could have a better selection of savoury (like bacon and scramble eggs) considering it is 13eur the breakfast you ll expect it but overall this is really a nice à hôtel! I'll go back with no hesitation!

Top class.
Very good all round. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfy. Great staff who are very helpfull. The hotel is in an ideal position, just across from the beach and in the centre of the resort.

We had a little studio with good light exclusion but poor sound insulation. We didn`t see the main hotel rooms so can`t comment.

Great hotel on the beach.
This was a great hotel. The service was great and the restaurant served excellent evening meal. I had a room facing the beach with a balcony. The view over the beach is great evenin winter. Very modern and I was impressed with having a coffee maker in the room. A very nice touch being a coffee lover. I am sure it is very busy in the summer. I enjoyed going out of season and there was still a lot of places open.

On our trip from San Sebastian to Paris
Stayed 2 days on our way from San Sebastian to Paris. Was really nice, and located just next to the beach. We booked an ocean view room, and although our room did not have a proper balcony (but instead the french version) we definitely enjoyed it!

Seaside stopover
We received a very warm welcome at this modern hotel. We had a superior room with a sea view and a balcony overlooking the wide expanse of the beach. The room was faultless,comfortable bed, air conditioning, fabulous shower room, fridge with complimentary soft drinks and a Lavazza espresso machine. All we needed for a short break. We were lucky with parking, free in a side street, but it might be an issue in peak season. Attached hotel restaurant was very good, we eat there both evenings.

Heerlijk hotel voor paar dagen aan zee!
Vriendelijke ontvangst en goede service. Prima dagen gehad! Ligging direct aan zee was erg fijn en zeker omdat het goed weer was. Ook restaurant erg lekker, maar wel wat chique en dus prijzig.
