"Lovely stay, good food, great service"

"This was a lovely quiet location which was very relaxing. The property we stayed in was lovely,my only disappointment was the bed was uncomfortable and both pillows were really flat. This however would not put us off staying again,we would just bring along our own pillows,and although the bed wasn’t very comfy,we could cope with this just for one night. Other than this ,we enjoyed our stay,and would definately return ."

No lift but not an issue for us on 1st floor. *BUT...Beautiful hotel but would not stay again unless following points addressed: Bad: -Room change requests to avoid the following problems were refused during 4 day stay.- NO sleep-Very noisy (loud waterfall gushing sounds) antique heating on 5am -9:30 & 5pm...

"This beautiful pub adjacent to the River Ouse allows for the weary traveller to sit back, relax or else take a quiet walk along the ambling lanes close by: to soak up the sounds of the birdsong which is prolific to the ear, as they make their homes amongst the well known Fens. "The accommodation was easy to find & parking no problem. Hospitable host. It was perfect for us - we just stayed 1 night. Clean. Good kitchenette. Plenty of windows that open easily, so nice & light & airy. Bed comfortable. Shower not very powerful, but sufficient. Heaters in lounge & bedroom if needed. Breakfast & fruit juice brought to your door & very tasty. Would recommend & return. "

"The location is superb, on the waterside, a very good pub/restaurant (The Cutter Inn) nearby, accommodation is spotless, breakfast excellent. Don't let the name confuse you - it is not an inn, it is a guest house, but a very good one that I will go to again. Apart from at breakfast I saw no staff at all so can't comment on that aspect but it works."
