Beautiful French house. Lovely furniture and very comfortable beds. The gardens are full of beautiful trees and flowers. Delicious breakfast and great service. Swimming pool away from the house for weary travellers. A trip back in time and much appreciated.

Excellent stay. The team were very welcoming on arrival, the room very clean and kept that way daily. Such a nice relaxing environment, with great breakfast and a really nice Brasserie. Stayed in the Junior Suite which had a nice terrace area overlooking the gardens and good AC!

This place is a little gem, nested in the countryside with a fantastic vibe. The host is extremely kind and clearly made a great work with the place, the room was perfect for my family of 4 and we all loved the stay. The breakfast was definitely the best in our month-long vacation in France. When going again to the Loire valley, I'd definitely be coming back a La Source de Bury to use as a base to visit the many castles in the area.

The couple that own the property were very friendly and welcoming. Our check in was quick and easy. The room itself was beautiful. The bathroom gave that little something extra. We sat in the garden until the sun went down. Breakfast was fit for a king and was a wonderful finish to a superb stay. Highly recommend

This hotel was a highlight of our recent tour around France. Located in gorgeous french countryside, with wonderful facilities of heated hot tub, heated pool and tennis courts included as well as bike hire. Rooms are beautifully French and there are lovely seating options in the library and gardens to enjoy some of your locally purchased wines, cheeses and other goodies. A special mention to the staff, who ever does the staff hiring and training at this hotel really knows their stuff; reception...

A very pleasant stay at Les Rives du Cher. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, both speaking excellent English. Our room had a beautiful view from the balcony, and it was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was lovely. The hotel is very picturesque, with pleasant gardens, parking for all rooms, and is only a 10min walk from the town centre, with it's historic buildings, and plenty of places to eat. The bedroom was very spacious with a lovely comfortable seating area for watching t.v. plus a standard reading lamp. Bedding and bed were both excellent and the hotel provided 3 pillows each (this is rare). There were many thoughtful touches in the room and bathroom such as shaving mirror, room for toiletries to be stored, plenty of hooks for bathrobes etc and good clothes hangers in the wardrobe. Lovely old mill with tranquil surroundings and peaceful environment. Perfect place for stop over or even longer stay. Near by village offered top class cuisine and service from hostess was superb. Highly recommendation to visit and you can enjoy French countryside as it best.

An outstanding and beautiful hotel. Spotlessly clean and in an ideal location. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Room was fantastic - big, well equipped and with air con - perfect. We really loved this hotel and would thoroughly recommend.

One night at Chateau Des Arpentis was a dream. Everything was excellent.
