"Stayed in the manor house although checked in at the Club reception. No restaurant open, just the Club cafe, which was disappointing. Huge room and huge, comfy bed with large bathroom."

"A beautiful hotel set in the hills. The room and facilities are good for the money. You also have access to the pool and decently equipped gym which is available throughout your stay. My room unfortunately had rubbish left under my desk but it wasn't the end of the world. As well as some light fittings not functioning. "We had a 2 night stay to celebrate my husband's birthday. Faultless service from the staff in all areas and particularly the restaurant. Spa area and all 3 pools are spotless, just enough loungers, more than enough towels and shade - and on a hot day a beautiful place to chill out after exploring Bath. Bar lounge menus and main restaurant menu are good value, food is excellent."

"The hotel has a very much a 5-star feel, reminiscent of something out of Downton Abbey. The building and public areas are grand, and the complimentary Elemis toiletries were a nice touch. Unfortunately, my room had several issues. The toilet seat appeared to be broken, and the bathroom layout was poorly designed.
