Dar MD was absolutely stunning. The staff was so helpful. Abdoul led us to a beautiful restaurant and even helped us figure out what to pay for items so we were treated fair. I would highly recommend and hope to visit again!

“A Hidden Gem” This beautiful, family-owned hotel is tucked away in a stunning location — a bit hard to get to, with parking a distance away and plenty of steps to climb, but absolutely worth it. The family who runs it are wonderfully kind, attentive, and genuinely care for their guests like family. Every detail feels personal, warm, and full of heart.

Lovely riad

Beautiful clean, attractive, with new furnishings, helpful hosts who speak excellent English and delicious breakfast. Note that because this a historic neighborhood and riad, there is a steep walk to get to the building and internal staircases to reach the rooms, so you may need to call ahead to ask for help with luggage.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Dar MD! The location is very good for viewing the different sites of Chefchaouen. It was also located close to a very good restaurants: El Ciello and La Tirana. There was lots of storage in the room and the lightning was thoughtfully laid out. The shower was the best that we experienced in Morocco! The entrance to the Dar is beautiful and breakfast was delicious and with nice views from the rooftop. The front desk was very helpful to arrange a taxi to the bus station and to help us with our luggage. We were pleased with our choice in the Dar MD.

The hotel is beautiful. Every little detail is so nice. We were greeted warmly and helped to our room. The staff was so helpful and kind. The location is great. Walking distance to many restaurants and the main square. The breakfast was also really good. I highly recommend this hotel.

Quaint setting; good breakfast served on rooftop with excellent views. Staff were great, arranged a gran taxi from Tetouan airport to the hotel as well as a petit taxi from the hotel to the Chefchouan bus station.

This hotel is in the center of everything you want to do and see. It is both beautiful and authentic to Morocco. One of my favorite hotels ever. Breakfast was delicious, the tea service was incredible and the staff were kind and helpful

Absolute Gem ! Highly Recommend.

We cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. Loved every part of it. Beautiful room. Spotless clean. Amazing helpful staff. Awesome breakfast on the rooftop terrace. Wonderful location. Bit hard to find but you’ll work it out. Streets are noisy at night but nothing to do with the hotel.

Very good option for Chef

We stayed 2 nights in the the Dar, it is well locatrd...across from.the crowded areas...keep in mind you have to go uphill to get to the place. Athe place is small but considering tjat you're in a small city is a good option. Hot water, good bed and staff helpful...breakfast is AMAZING! Restaurant El Cielo is very close food is amazing
