"The room was perfect and the staff is so nice and helpful! The parking was pretty expensive but understandable. There is a chipotle connected which was perfect for when we wanted to grab a quick dinner! Last thing is that breakfast ended at 9 am which was quite early for us who had stayed out late so I wish it was until at least 10 am"

"Location - 10/10 Room - 8.5/10 - it was fine. No complaints. Not super nice. Food/drink -9/10 Pool - 6/10 The hotel location can’t be beat. Everyone who works there is nice. I overpaid because I wanted a rooftop pool. It is tiny and the pool patio deck is so basic. There are very limited lounge seats and they aren’t nice or anything. The pool was filled with kids which is fine I guess. No good music or vibe. There is a tiny bar at the pool and the bartender was very nice and made good drinks. They could make the pool deck nice with nicer furniture and music. It was disappointing. Overall, I feel like I paid way too much for what I got."

"Any issues we had were dealt with professionally. My credit card was accidentally left near a register and led to two days of angst trying to find it. Even though the error was an oversight by a staff member all the staff that I asked for help did. They were terrific....and they found it. The hotel is billed as a boutique hotel which assumes good fit and finish. That is not the case. There was a lot of scuffed floorboards, an air conditioner that appeared to be put in its place by eighth graders. The elevator had some paint or other stuff on its walls continuing with the fit and finish issue. The room was cleaned every day with no one suggesting the environmental advantages of not cleaning it...;). We also left our room late usually and the hotel still cleaned the room, made the beds etc. Well done! The room was very small but it did have a spectacular view of Lincoln Park and Lake Michigan. We lived out of our suitcases given the lack of space. There was no room to put down a yoga mat....and barely enough room at the "health club" for the yoga mat as wall. However, almost no one was in the gym during our stay so for two people it was fine. The price was about $100 per day more than usual which made our expectations higher. However, at its traditional price (based on Hotel.com pricing) the hotel was fine."
