"This spot is a little gem. great for taking a break from a long travel day. A cool clean room on a hot day, comfy bed, rooms look like the photos. Quaint & sweet, thoughtful details. Pet friendly & a sweet pool area. Easy self check in, friendly staff. We will stop again on our way to and from Oregon. "

"Diamond Hotel is a great property. There are not many worthwhile hotels in Chico. This was probably the nicest. Good centralized location. Great steakhouse about a block away. Several boutique-type shopping stores are just around the corner. Multiple bars and restaurants are within walking distance. The hotel is quiet and clean, offering massages and a steakhouse on the premises, although we did not use either one. We will stay here next time we come through Chico."

"Easy check in. They let my kids stay in the pool later than normal. The farmers market was going on and was within walking distance. Other guests were quiet. The man working the front desk at check in was very kind. "
