I elected to go for something closer to VCE, preferably with a shuttle from and back to the airport. While the Crowne Plaza advertises a free shuttle they only provide it if you reserve it 24 hours in advance. We opted for the breakfast before we began a long trek home and the breakfast was the perfect start we needed before our driver (arranged by the B&B office) arrived. "Great stay for travelers who don’t want to get a hotel in Venice proper. Very easy to get to the train and the ride was 3€ and 20min away. Lovely hotel! We stayed on the 3rd floor. Staff was super friendly and breakfast was perfect. Was able to schedule a 3am driver to the airport. Only complaints are the elevator not making it up to the 3rd floor (we had heavy luggage) and the lighting was a little too dim at night in the room."
