"IQ was a perfect central location for our time in Rome. Not so close to all of the attractions that it felt over crowded but close enough that we could walk or catch a quick ride. Very close to Termini Roma for connecting to other parts of Italy as well."

"The staff at Hotel Maximus were extremely polite, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. They were by far the highlight of our experience. The room was surprisingly spacious for Rome, which we appreciated. However, it was not as clean as we expected. The biggest drawback was the location. Although it is relatively close to the main train station, it is far from most of Rome’s main attractions. The neighborhood is not very tourist-oriented, and we didn’t feel particularly comfortable...

"We had a wonderful 1 night stay in the family room. There was 1 double and 2 single beds in the one room but we did not feel cramped. The staff at check in were amazing and very helpful with restaurant advice and places to see, making notes on a paper map for us. They were happy to store our bags when we checked out for the day. They provided us with water, juice and yoghurt and had a coffee station in the common area. We would definitely recommend this accommodation."

"The location of the hotel was ideal, close to termini and metro and bus station. The room was clean, the staff was nice. The two issues that we faced were: 1- we barely had wifi connection because the signal was too weak. 2- the electrical plug-ins were barely working so we had trouble recharging our cell phones."

"As the check-in is unmanned it was fine but we saw no one during our stay. The breakfast was allocated to each room but one morning we arrived to find no bread left someone had taken our knives most of the fruit had gone which was a disappointment and reflected on the other guests more that the establishment but there should be enough for everyone not just the greedy ones"

The staff were very friendly and always variable to help. My room was a decent size, clean and it was comfortable. I would definitely return to this hotel in the future."

"Very well-located hotel in the Monti neighborhood, surrounded by restaurants and cafés and just a short walk from the Colosseum. It is within walking distance of Roma Termini train station or only a 5-minute taxi ride away. Chiara was incredibly helpful and provided great tips on navigating the city. The air conditioning was a huge plus, especially during the heat wave we experienced. I highly recommend this hotel for families visiting Rome."

"I chose this location because its between the train station and the major sites. It's about a 15 min walk to either part. The buffet breakfast that was included was very nice and provided a good variety of items and the dining area was charming. But most of all, the hotel staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful. In addition, Hotel Galatea has free tours and activities planned out for each day of the week. Unfortunately, I did not have a chance to participate in any of them."
