The property was nicely lit and was very quiet. It was extremely clean and the manager was polite and friendly. Only negative thing was the room was very muggy, stuffy. A/C would've been nice to walk in to. But it got nice and cool within a Cpl hours. I enjoyed my stay!

Super convenient to the highway. Rooms are very nice and modern in this well-kept traditional motor lodge. Staff is very hospitable and professional. And it’s not expensive. Pet friendly with walkable surrounding areas.

Guy at the front desk was nice. The I had booked and paid in advance for two king beds rooms. One of my rooms was a 2 queen beds no big deal since we had one missing person on our drop. The shower condition was horrible. The other room we had a dead big on our wall and whole near our bed. Definitely not what we expected from pictures. We had to check a day early I was not sleeping one more night with my 1yr old in those condition. Definitely needs a lot of maintenance.

The room was so very clean and neat as were the bath towels. Quiet location and not any irritating outside noises. Staff were super nice and even opened up a little after the lobby hours closed to let us get paper goods for a birthday cake we had brought. I have stayed there now several times and had a good experience with each stay.

I come into town at least once a month to visit my grandchildren in Vernon, as i always stay with Hotel Vernon. I have never had a problem until this last stay. Front desk guy is extremely kind and welcoming but in my room I killed 5 big cockroaches, 3 in the bathroom and 2 on the curtain above the ac unit. Very disappointing. I hope this is taking care of, because I really enjoy everything else about this hotel

It is what it is, not my favorite hotel…

The pictures on the app did not match my room when I entered my room it was 95° and took almost 3 hours to cool down. We are in Texas but there was a lot of insects in my room…icky stains and I believe when I book through Hotels.com they give me the worst room, always always always, but I had no choice this time…

There was an inch of dust on the ceiling fan. Luckily we noticed before figuring out how to turn it on. The mattress is probably 20 years old. I hurt worse waking up than i did after our 13 hour drive. The place reminds me of one my junky ex lived at. Definitley 10 out of 10 would never recommend.

We were unable to stay the night due to an infestation of crickets, and ants in the bathtub. The overall cleanliness of the room was unsatisfactory. The manager as much as admitted that he only has one cleaning lady for the entire complex, and he became rude and argumentative with us when we said we would not stay. He said he could not refund our money because we had booked through Expedia. I will never use this hotel, or book through Expedia again.

I want to start out by saying that my husband and I are far from picky. All we ask for is a dog friendly location that is clean and well kept. When we pulled down the sheets in the first room, there were multiple hairs, including a pubic hair. When we contacted the front desk, they moved us to another room. There were stains on the sheets that he claimed were bleach stains, but they looked more like ejaculation spots. There were several hairs as well. As we inspected the room in front of the employee, he became aggressive and insisted that "this was not the property for us and he can't accommodate us" and that "we were looking for issues." We packed up and drove another hour, finding a La Quinta, which was immaculate. Don't waste your time staying here

Arrived ten minutes before 9am for breakfast, only to be told she just put everything up, but there’s coffee she said! Front desk guy had to be called to our room twice for help with the tv remote and the ac. Both times he acted as if we were stupid that he had to walk to our room! Terrible customer service. Would not stay there again!
