"This motel is older, but it is well taken care of. It served our basic needs. As far as budget friendly, you pay about half of what you might pay at like bigger chains such as best western. Theres no frills, but the shower was hot and consistant , the bed was comfortable, it had covered parking, and right in front of your room. The heating was adequate, and the host/ owner was very nice and shared her knowledge of the town and beaches and local restaurants. You could tell she takes pride in ownership. I would definitely stay again if in the brookings area. And thankyou for keeping the prices low, so us budget friendly travelers can still aford to go and enjoy our beautiful trip."

"The property is in a nice location as we were visiting the Samuel Boardman corridor. The place needed a good clean and an update to their plumbing. Our hot water in the sink stopped working, and the toilet was clogged with first flush."

"What a gem! We really enjoyed our stay here. We were travelling with our family and dogs. The staff were friendly and helpful and the property is well maintained. Our room was spacious and very clean. We appreciated the reatuarant on site after a day exploring in the Redwoods. The food was good with execellent service. Complimentary breakfast in the mroming is grab and go (cereal, fruit, oatmeal). The gas station and store were convenient and made travelling easier. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others."

"Super friendly staff. Easy parking. Spacious rooms, lots of towels and supplies, no carpet (yay!) and clean. Pet friendly. Nice grass patch for the pups. Bed spreads need to go back to the 70’s, but I had a pet friendly room so it’s understandable. I’ll definitely stop here when I go through Brookings next time. See you then!"
