"Really poor service from the reception team. We were charged for the room again at check out because she didn’t speak to us before charging to a card. It wasn’t even the card used to book but one used to pay for breakfast. We were then told that she couldn’t fix it and WE had to email guest relations. A very similar story to my last visit if you look through my reviews. No doubt I'll stay here again shortly as the local alternatives are poor. I expect more for £250 per night. Only one budweiser in the fridge this stay too, I've previously had two. Staff helpful but couldn't put me in a quiet room due to being...

"On arrival they told me we couldn't dine there that night. I pointed out that I didn't travel hours to a remote hotel just to sleep there. I asked to see the manager and was about to demand a refund when they decided I could be squeezed in. This was at 3 PM not last minute (dinner was set for 7.30 pm), The receptionist was initially unhelpful and initially said we could eat in the bar. She also claimed the menu was the same (it was not). A terrible first impression and I was tempted to just...
