"The small hotel is in Marampata, Peru, close to Choquequirao. Everything that gets to Marampata comes on a human's or mule's back on a brutally long day of hiking. The fact that the hotel exists there is amazing in itself. No idea how the mattresses got there. My son and I stayed 2 nights on a recent ..."

Cheap and well located but noisy

"Cheap, on the way, close to the few restaurants in town. Staff is kind and helpful. Area is noisy because of stray dogs and bad insulation. Light slippers avoid."
