"Second time staying at posada de Roger and it’s my new go to hotel in PV. Location is excellent! Clubs, bars, restaurants and beach steps away from the front door. Quiet rooms of all different sizes and excellent air conditioning! Staff is very friendly and helpful! Kitchen open to the guest is a great perk. Freddy’s toucan next door is great for breakfast, service and food is excellent. One last note. If you are looking for a 5 star American style hotel keep looking. If you want great accommodations and feel like you are visiting puerto Vallarta Mexico I highly recommend this place. Thank you hotel posada de Roger Jack"

"I loved this hotel! It was quiet, authentic and charming. I read the other reviews about the church bells and did not find them loud or intrusive. The staff was lovely and they offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. I will definitely be back! Would 100% recommend! Why stay at some overcrowded resort when you can stay somewhere like here!? I had a huge balcony with two loungers and a table and chairs! Thoughtful amenities, even two chandeliers in my shower! Wow!"

"The room was cleaned and A/C working good. The only bad experience we had: we got to the hotel 25 minutes before checking in and staff told us room will be ready at 2:50 pm. the clean ladies left at 3:00 and come back at 3:30 while we still waiting from reception to give us the room. I asked why my room still wasn’t ready and receptionist said the clean ladies left for lunch, and room is not clean yet. Very disappointed experience."

"This is a magical property! Beautiful, well maintained, elegant, comfortable and clean. Everything about this place is remarkable! It feels like you’ve stepped into a piece of history that has allowed you to call it home for a few wonderful days. Can’t recommend it highly enough! And the lovely staff who take such excellent care of their guests and this place — a mark of excellence! I’ll be back!"

"Straight up the hill (lots of stairs!) from the big Puerto Vallarta sign this property is close to the Malecon with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. We stayed in the larger room on the top floor (again, lots of stairs) which was very well laid out and clean, with a full kitchen for longer stays. The continental breakfast starting at 8:30 at the rooftop pool area was a nice touch as we were travelling early so needed something to eat. Staff easy to get hold of through WhatsApp. Lovely views, all open air. Would definitely recommend."
