We stay at Home2Suites whenever we travel if possible because we are always very happy with our stay. We went to Cincinnati with another couple for an overnight getaway and everything was great until we got up this morning and went down for breakfast at 7 a.m when breakfast was supposed to start. The breakfast area was not open and the room was dark. The front desk staff acted like they hadn't realized it and noticed that the breakfast staff hadn't reported to work. They attempted to contact her and said she was on her way, but we needed to get on our way. We went back to our rooms to finish getting ready and when we left 45 minutes later they still had not opened for breakfast. We were very disappointed as "breakfast included" is something we look for in our hotel stay and the staff didn't make any attempt to make it right other than apologize.

One of the staff members didnt know how to do much so she just told us and other visitors its not available. We couldnt get two room keys because after we paid and checked in she couldnt give us an additional room key for my husband. She also told someone there were no extra pillows or blankets amd also said they dont accept triple A discounts. The breakfast was okay, nothing special. The facility overall was clean, though i wish they had a hot tub and the other staff members were nice for the most part.

Front Desk was great. Not the cleanest hotel. Police were at property 2 times in less than 24 hours for car break ins and unruly guy off the street. Was Hands down one of the worst breakfasts. Pool was sufficient. Overalll average

Tosha was friendly and really helpful. She worked the front desk and helped the kitchen staff because there were so many people for breakfast. Have to commend the kitchen staff who remained calm during such a busy morning. Great location. EV charging on site and 0.4 miles away 🤓

Very new facility Rooms are well appointed. Cheaped out on pillows and comforters. Standard 2 queen room had thin comforters that barely reached the edge of the bed, not conducive to great sleep… why we stay at hotels…. Front desk in the morning, polite and helpful. Evening front desk, (Linda) would make you wait a good 30 seconds before she would acknowledge a guest. Watched it happen to others as well as us. I mean really, just why? Elevators smelled like weed, every time we got in. Would not stay there again. Primarily due to bed/pillow/bed linen situation. Terrible nights of sleep. Such a shame for a new place. Place was empty during our stay. I understand why. 3 stars for location and sweet lady working breakfast. Set in a very new mixed use community only 10-15 minutes north of the City. Easy drive to UC/CCM There are plenty of other hotels within walking distance to this one. Choose wisely.

Our room was spacious and clean, staff members were courteous, and the breakfast was good. The only negative we can site was the temperature of our room. We woke up during the night to find that the room was at 75 degrees, and we weren't able to lower it with the thermostat.
