"AVOID! Run down hotel, showing it's age while the owner lives in FLORIDA, at YOUR expense! I was quiet as a mouse, OTHERS were far from that, neighbor on the phone for hours, and so ignorant/arrogant! Left the next day, without breakfast, trusted Mc.Donalds to feed me better!"

"Lovely friendly staff, but the shower was tiny, mouldy and the sink didn't work, so hardly any water coming out. I reported the problem with the sink the following day, but was told that it may not get fixed as the hotel was undergoing a full renovation in a few weeks. I fully understand that the owners don't want to spend money when they are ripping out old rooms AND I was offered a room change, but decided not to take it. Room cleanliness was good, but I gave a low score on the overall cleanliness as the hotel needed a deep clean, but as above, no point if they're renovating soon. Would stay again, but I'll be waiting until the renovations are complete."

"Good hotel - a little understaffed in places, but the staff on reception were particularly helpful. Breakfast was good, although a buffet would have been more flexible than ordering from the menu. Spa facilities were good, but it was really quite busy. Overall, an enjoyable stay! "
