"We didn’t get the house we originally paid for, the house stunk , had a spiral staircase, one of the doors didn’t lock, the bedrooms only had a lamp, also the electrical outlets were a little scary. The downstairs bathroom did not have a doorknob.We stayed here only because this was the second time of a rental company switching houses on us in this area. Not a pleasant experience during Christmas break."

It is intentional false advertising. The “shared bathroom” clause is supposed to have you assume you will be sharing the place with the elderly woman that lives there and whatever guests she has in another room. "Booked a D&J Properties reservation through Hotels.com for a trip in April. A few days before my stay, I received a message directly to me (not on Hotels.com) that the location is not available. After many texts, they sent me credit since the new location was inferior. They sent a screenshot of the reservation. I had no way to verify, access or confirm that reservation. Then I received an email that I need to provide my full address, full credit card information AND PHOTO OF ME HOLDING MY...

"The property was close to Fort Island beach, Three Sisters Spring, and the small hunters beach which is in Crystal River. The property was clean and easy to check in. Honestly, the property was close to everything you would need such as grocery stores, shopping, and restaurants. "
