Hotel Menerima Tamu LGBT di Città Alta

"The hotel looked like a museum with all of the statues, incredible chandeliers, mosaic tile floors and artwork lining the hallways. I love how the hotel was very historic but the spa was very contemporary. The room was good for sleeping, dark and quiet, although the pillows were not great and the mattress was harder than I find comfortable. Wonderful amenities and location. Truly the grandest of the hotels along the lake."

"Hotel was gorgeous but a few things let it down. 1. I had to chase for the ZTL exemption and the key code to enter the property 2. When we arrive the car gates did not open using the code we had been provided, this had to be updated after I had called 3. Coffee machine in room did not work 4. Shower head fell off when we were using it 5. Hairdryer did work, then stopped working half way through 6. No towels for our daughter, just two sets put out 7. Safe could not be opened, luckily did not...

There is also a pizza restaurant below the hotel, which was recommended as the best in Bergamo by my walking tour guide :-) My room was spacious and luxurious with fantastic...

"This is a very good choice for forte dei Marmi - an easy 15 minute walk along the promenade with very nice beach clubs opposite as well as a small but very well maintained pool and beautiful grounds and lounge areas inside and out All staff really welcoming and helpful with recommendations and all aspects of our stay - excellent service all round A high quality plentiful breakfast is offered with eggs and coffee made to order Room services and cleaning were spot on"

"A peaceful stay in the centre of Bergamo. Breakfast was varied and there was something for everyone, fresh fruit, meat, bread, pastries, coffee, etc, though very busy at peaks. Rooms are comfortable and modern with good air conditioning. Staff are less friendly but do they job. Cleaners in rooms didn't replenish teas/coffees/milks and left no cups after we used the two paper cups. Shower gel was half empty when we arrived and was also not replenished when finished. More attentive staff would...
