"Breakfast excellent, with hot breakfast cooked to order. Staff are very friendly. Executive room was very clean."

"It’s a beautiful property. It is about a 10-15 minute drive to downtown Siracusa/Ortigia. It has 2 large pools. The Restaurant at the resort is top notch and the included breakfast is the best in Sicily- absolutely incredible. The staff and owner are very nice and were very accommodating."

"The beach options are excellent but the rooms need updating. The hot tubs were not hot and the showers were very simple and old."

"This was a unique property out in the country, as part of a thoroughbred horse racing track. You could watch racing from your room. The property was clean but is generally getting tired and needs refreshing. The lobby area is noisy and that cascades down the halls and to the rooms. The pool areas are nice and well kept. The breakfast was wanting, with most items running out."

"It’s such a special grand old hotel. The lookout from our balcony was like a ship porthole, offering this really great view of the waterfront and property. Breakfast was top-notch. All in, a delightful stay!"

"Room very clean, staff welcoming. Roof top terrace a bonus. 20 mins brisk walk to Ortigia. Plentiful breakfast but it would have been good to see real preserves and authentic pastries."

"Parcheggio dell'hotel a pagamento con sbarra di accesso che richiedeva di scendere dall'auto e suonare un citofono per essere aperta dal personale all'interno dell'hotel. Wifi inutilizzabile. Rivestimento del pavimento della stanza liso. Mobili della stanza scheggiati. Box doccia estremamente piccolo. Spesso alcuni alimenti erano terminati al buffet della colazione ed il rimpiazzo era tardivo. Non capisco come questo hotel possa essere classificato quattro stelle."

"Amazing stay with Stefano and family. Great room, beautiful terrace and lovely home made breakfast. Great location to visit Siracusa and then relax."

"Colazione deludente soprattutto se c’è un bambino. Proprietario un po’ rude. Camera pulita"

"The staff was very helpful and friendly. Although they have no parking there was plenty of free parking close by. The internet simply doesn't work. Don't count on using it on the room. You have to go to the lobby for it. The location is close enough that we walked to Ortigia and also to the archeological site. Not the prettiest site but had a good breakfast. There was a smell on the corridor/room that could be a mix of smoke or mold (couldn't identify it) but it wasn't that bad. Overall...

"Great location in historical area of Siracusa. Right across from water. Great bar and bfast. Would stay again. Love our sea view room"
