"We had another great stay at The Cook. It is so convenient for visiting our daughter on the LSU campus. Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. We absolutely love the LSU store across from the main desk. It is a hidden gem for LSU fans. The gentleman who worked there was also extremely kind and helpful. We would recommend staying at The Cook if you’re ever in the area. "

"Booked last minute to stay for our anniversary but was not told upon check in that there was no hot water in the hotel and was also told there was nothing they were going to do about it when I asked to speak to a manager. I was told it was to late (9pm) and that I just needed to go to my room and wait until the next day when a maintenance staff member would be available. There was also no hot water the second night and multiple times I asked for a manager to which each time I was told no and...

"Breakfast was very good. Other things not so good. Thermostat didn’t work. There was a stain running down the side of the bed that looked like vomit. No cups in bathroom. Bathroom very tiny with no counter space. Tub was old looking with moldy corners and broken drain stopper rolling around the tub. And be prepared for an unusual amount of extremely loud horrible truck noise in the middle of the night. I don’t understand why it was so noisy. I don’t know if the windows are thin, but it was...

"Had an issue with shower running same time as bath but room was nice, cool and quiet. Some parts are worn down. Worse part for me was paying 18 bucks for breakfast buffet for me and a toddler that didnt even eat it because it tasted horrible. Should have taken being the only guests in there as a sign. Dont waste money on their breakfast for sure. "
