There was a problem with our reservation which meant we were given poor rooms with no air con and missing bulbs, linen, and varying levels of amenities (showers, water, etc). "Book at your discretion. Not for person who nags much as this hotel is close to a bar and the noise is too loud and for a sensitive noise person u won't sleep. Unlike me l am not subjected to noise l slept. The hotel needs renovation as one window was broken, the room had no toilet seat and there is no restaurant you have to go out to eat.     "The location is in the very centre of Bulawayo, with walking distance to both the Art Gallery (10 min) and The Natural History Museum (15 min). There are plenty of fast-food and restaurant options within minutes by foot from the hotel. Also, very easy to arrange pick-up/drop-off at the hotel as all tour operators doing excursions to Khami ruins, Great Zimbabwe ruins and Matobo NP know it. The Selborne Hotel is clean, neat and I recommend it. Excellent location and very helpful staff. Some details in my room would need an update, but all in all a really pleasant stay!"
