"My room was small, but very clean and the bathroom fixtures were good, including water pressure. I paid for a city view and mine was outstanding…straight down 34th to the Empire State Building! But the hotel was definitely run down, with the carpet seams taped and peeling wall paper. Sad to see such a formerly nice hotel sinking into disrepair."
"Room was large and comfy and the hotel is in a great location. Could use some updating (carpets, furniture, elevators), but for the price, I doubt there was a better opportunity in NYC midtown. We’d definitely stay here again."
"Overall, my wife and I had a very pleasant stay at the Arthouse Hotel NYC. We travel frequently, and this was one of the cleanest properties we’ve ever stayed at, especially for NYC. The staff were friendly, the hotel was clean and elegant, and the bar had a great atmosphere. Our only complaint was that there was no fridge in the room."
