"I had made inquiries through the Expedia app to Goki when I first booked the hotel. She was on the front desk when we arrived and remembered my name. We were very early after our cruise at around 10:30am. Our room wasn't ready but there was a small room available that we could take right away. It wasn't an upgrade since we were getting a smaller room but it was great to have an early check in. It was worth it to get out of the heat and into an air conditioned room.
Goki suggested to bring our big suitcase downstairs later due to the limited space in the room and she knew we were leaving it at the hotel for a week. She's amazing.
The hotel check-in was crazy with everyone arriving from all the cruise ships in port. It was still busy in the afternoon. I felt sorry for the staff but they did a great job.
The hotel has water stations where you can fill up a carafe which is great with the heat. The AC worked well. They have everything you need but need more places to hang your wet towels and clothes. There is a closet for tall people.
There is construction in front of the hotel so the taxi let us off down the block. The front desk arranged a taxi for us for the next morning to take us to the train station. He was the only cab driver who didn't over charge us.
Check out was easy on an email link. The staff are great and very accommodating, the room is clean, what more can you ask for."
"Excellent hotel. Both beautiful and comfortable. Conveniently located. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had lots of options for everyone in our group. Will come back again."
"Great staff and great amenities made for a very enjoyable stay. While Barcelona has many attractions to keep the visitor occupied, the hotel has some nice attributes of its own. The rooftop pool and bar complete with sun loungers, was a nice place to hang out at the end of the day. However the real star was the spa in the basement of the hotel which was wonderful, and a great place to visit after a day’s sightseeing. With staff permanently on hand the spa is clean and well looked after, and I’d highly recommend including a visit or two during your stay."
