"The staff was so nice. Rooms were wonderful. Loved they had a fridge and microwave. Loved the pool and jacuzzi were saltwater so you didn’t have the chlorine smell. We will definitely be back at this hotel next time we visit. "

"The hotel was in a really good location, couple of minutes walk into the main street of town. Great continental breakfast that was free of charge. Shame the room was a bit tatty and needed a good clean."

"We got there just as everything was opening. The lodge is clean , comfortable and helpful in showing us where the outside camp kitchen was in order to grill steaks. Sleeping was a little challenging as a bus full of teenagers pulled up and basically ran up and down the halls and stairs all night. Kids will be kids. I was just wondering where are the adults. It was kinda rude and inconsiderate"

"Breakfast was better than most. Really nice atmosphere and our room had a view of Mount Rushmore, which was a treat because we could see it lit up at night. Highly recommend this hotel."

"The front desk person was so friendly, polite. Answered all my questions. The room was dirty, the bathroom mirror was filthy. I thought it may be stained so I grabbed a tissue to wipe it and the dirt came off. The front staff was so kind saying there was breakfast and to please help myself but I could not eat the were knowing how dirty the bathroom was. "

"The staff was great! Very kind. Breakfast was simple but good. The room was clean, except for the carpet - which is my only critique. Otherwise our stay was great and we would stay here again! It’s very close to Mt. Rushmore. Not really walking distance but close. We stayed there and saw The Badlands, Mt. Rushmore and Wind Cave. It was the perfect location to see all of those sights! "

"Confusing parking, not easy to re-lock door. Nasty seasonal large bugs. Dead bugs in room. Expensive for what we got but popular area. But it was quiet and conveniently located."
