An old hotel that some would say is full of charm but the peeling pant in main lobby and corridors and dark dated creaky bedrooms are indeed in need of attention. Its great location and additional add ins for cruise transfer were welcomed.

The hotel is ideally located close to the cruise ship port which was a key selling point. It was also central to local eateries and shopping which was also very nice. We could walk everywhere. My only real negative was the elevator, the climate control, no iron or ironing board, and thr challenge with coordinating transportation to the port or the airport in Rome. Its difficult and pricey. If I had it to do over, I think I would have gone with something in Rome, something with more modern features.
