"I stay here whenever I am in town because it's the cheapest and check-in is always easy, even after 10 pm. However, the room I had this time had some plumbing challenges. Clogged bath, loose toilet seat. Enough towels for one person and stained. But I understand many towels are stolen quite often at this location. The place always serves the primary purpose, which is a place to stay late when the races get out, and is easy enough to leave first thing in the morning. Grateful for the $22 discount...

"The girl at the desk when I checked in was great but the guy when I checked out acted like I was bothering him. The room wasn’t very clean to the point where I had my shoes on the whole time. I used wipes to clean the bathroom down before I used it and I needed a lot and they were very gross when I put them in the trash. Towels smelled like they used way too much bleach to clean them."

"The price was low but the rooms were in terrible disrepair. There was a hole punched in one of the walls, duct tape on the bathroom door, tape wrapped around the bath faucet and the room was really dirty. The AC worked well and the sheets were clean and that was all I needed. I’m an Appalachian Trail thru hiker so I’m used to not so clean accommodations so it didn’t bother me so much but I would imagine it would have been unacceptable for most guests. "This is a nice little hotel. Decent rooms and they were very clean. The staff was incredible! Extremely friendly and welcoming. I don't think he could turn a smile off if he tried. This is a great hotel."

"If you don’t buy into that big hotel minimalist esthetic, then Twi-Light Motel is for you. Clean, newly renovated, friendly staff, we slept so well and walked to Melting Pot Pizza and Knotty Pine Diner for breakfast. Their flowers and garden are beautiful."
