"Hilary and Oliver are so hospitable and warm and everything you can want in B&B hosts. They are so accommodating in every way. The breakfast is superb- fresh cooked to order Irish breakfast or avocado toast with salmon or egg. They worked so hard to patiently and kindly accommodate our dietary needs and each thing we asked for to make our stay great. Der Herr an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und bemühte sich. Das Hotel hat für mich wenig Charme, auch die Umgebung nicht. Parken vor der Türe möglich, wenn man einen freien Platz findet. "The stay was comfortable and the gardens lovely. The drinks and barstaff great, reception great and friendly with advice on sight seeing. The room was comfortable and clean. There was a broken window pane and the furnishings were dated. Bed comfortable. The food was disappointing. I had a seafood chowder which was pretty good and the fish tasted fresh. the main was a steak that looked pale and was not cooked with lots of fat and gristle, the vegetables were overcooked. "Loved this hotel. Great location, places to sit outside for a drink, 3 restaurants (though same menu) they all had a different atmosphere. Breakfast was fine. Liked the bar. One thing the WiFi did not work well in the rooms as you got farther back, so if you need Internet you need to make sure you are ina room that it works well. But it did work well sitting outside or at the restraints. There is free onsite parking"
